Cameron Vale has over 8 years’ experience specializing in self storage property sales and is the Founder and President of Oakside Companies. Cameron oversees the operations, origination, marketing, and disposition of all self-storage brokerage assignments.

Prior to forming Oakside Companies, Cameron led the self-storage team at Berkshire Hathaway Commercial and was a Senior Vice President at SVA. His experience draws upon two generations of real estate entrepreneurship and brokerage dating back to the 1970s and his own experience in the investment sales, ownership, and management of self-storage properties.

During his career, Cameron has closed over $600 million in self-storage volume across 75 independent transactions and 28 states. Cameron has helped both institutional developers and individual owners achieve their goals by delivering a tailored marketing strategy and business plan to achieve the highest price and best terms available in the market.

Prior to entering the self-storage industry, Cameron served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, where he led a team of cyber operators conducting network defense and anti-hacking countermeasures for the nation’s space satellite network. His charisma and technical leadership earned him multiple awards and decorations while stationed at Vandenberg AFB, California. Cameron grew up in Tampa, Florida, and graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Financial Services. Cameron received his MBA from the University of La Verne in California.
